BATTERY: BATTERY STATUS AND RECHARGING
Your device comes with a feature that helps you monitor the battery’s condition. To check the life of
the battery, plug in the fixture and press the MODE button. Continue pressing until you see a display
that looks like “bXXX.” Here, XXX represents the remaining battery life. If you see b---” instead, it
means your device is currently running on AC power.
Remember, it is not good for the battery to let it completely run out of power. This can shorten its
overall lifespan. You’ll get a heads-up when the battery is running low: if it goes below 30%, the
battery percentage on the display will start flashing. When the battery power drops to 15%, your
device will automatically shut off to save the remaining power. Also, if you’re running on battery power
and there’s no activity for 20 seconds, the display will shift back to showing the battery life.
When it’s time to recharge the battery, you’ll need to plug the provided I.E.C. cord into the matching
I.E.C. input on the side of the device. The other end of the cord goes into a suitable power supply.
Keep the power off while charging; it should take about 4 hours to fully charge the battery. Once it
reaches 100%, the display will stop flashing.
Keep in mind, if you unplug the device from charging and switch to battery power, there might be a
small drop in charge. This is normal.
For a faster recharge, you can adjust the settings of the device. Simply switch the Load Setting to
Off’, and make sure the battery is turned On’. This way, more power is directed to recharging the
battery.
