DESCRIPTION
The SDX 611 GPON SFU ONT, 1GE (611 GPON ONT) is an Optical
Network Unit or Terminal that leverages GPON technology for delivering
premium 1GE services.
The 611 GPON ONT is an indoor unit that supports up to 1 Gbps data
rates.
This document supports the following versions of the 611 GPON ONT.
Figure 1 illustrates the 611 GPON ONT.

The basic features of the 611 GPON ONT include the following:
■ Single GPON fiber interface with 1.244 Gigabits per 
second upstream and 2.488 Gigabits per second 
downstream
■ 1 GE (RJ-45) Customer Interface
■ Remote activation and deactivation
■ Remote firmware upgrades and downgrades
■ Remote OMCI management as per ITU-T G.988
