• If the unit’s language is not set appropriately for your site, change the language settings.
• If desired, set up user accounts.
• If desired, assign restrictions for operator-level accounts, set the password expiration period and
configure the system to require a User ID and/or Sample ID before beginning a test.
• If desired, configure the OsmoTECH to communicate with your laboratory information system (LIS).
• If desired, set up control limits.
• If desired, enable webserver:
− Enable the webserver from SETTINGS > LIS/LAN > LAN screen.
− Go to the information screen and copy the assigned IP address
into any internet browser.
− The embedded webserver looks similar to a website.
