Changing system settings
Picture settings
Select the “Picture” menu.
You can carry out the following settings in the
submenus:

Select the “Option” menu. You can carry out the following settings in the

Setting Options Explanation
Aspect ratio 4:3 Full / Select between 4:3 format or 16:9 format (wide screen) according to your

Auto
Resolution 576i / 576p / 720p / Select the HDMI resolution for the playback device that you have connected
1080i and will use. The choice of the correct signal format depends on the
connector and the playback device used (consult the user manual to the
playback device).
TV Format PAL / NTSC / AUTO If you are not sure which TV standard is suitable, select ”Auto“.
Video Output CVBS / RGB Select the suitable video signal.
Setting Options Explanation
OSD Language You can select the required language for the screen menu.
Subtitle Language Here you can select the preferred subtitle language.
Audio Language Here you can set the preferred audio language.
Digital Audio Off / PCM / RAW This is where the settings for the digital audio socket are determined.
Off: Only an analogue, but no digital audio signal will be output.
PCM: A digital audio signal will be output, which will be converted into a
2-channel signal. Use these settings if you are using a 2-channel stereo
amplifier.
RAW: A digital audio signal will be output. Use these settings if you are not
using a two-channel stereo amplifier.
Banner time 1 – 10 sec. Select the time after which the OSD is to fade out.

Select the “Time” menu. You can carry out the following settings in the
submenus:

Setting Options Explanation
Time Auto On/off Here you can set whether the time zone should be set automatically.
Time Zone Here you can set the corresponding time zone.
(Only possible if the option "Time Auto" is set to "Off".)
Date Use the number keys to enter the date.
(Only possible if the option "Time Auto" is set to "Off".)
Time Use the number keys to enter the time.
(Only possible if the option "Time Auto" is set to "Off".)
Sleep Timer Here you set the time after which the device should switch to standby mode.
