9. BEFORE FIRST USE
During installation or before
first use you may observe
some water in the appliance.
This is a residual water left in
the appliance after a full
functional test in the factory
to ensure the appliance is
delivered to customers in
perfect working order and is
no cause for concern.
1. Make sure that all transit bolts have
been removed from the appliance.
2. Make sure that the electrical power is
available and the water tap is open.
3. Pour 2 litres of water into the
detergent compartment marked by
.
This action activates the drain system.
4. Pour a small quantity of detergent
into the compartment marked by
.
5. Set and start a programme for cotton
at the highest temperature without
any laundry in the drum.
This removes all possible dirt from the
drum and the tub.
10. PROGRAMMES
10.1 Programme Chart
Programme Programme description
Washing programmes
Cottons White cotton and coloured cotton. Normal, heavy and light
soil.
Cottons Eco White cotton and coloured cotton. Normal, heavy and light
soil.
Cottons energy saving programme. This programme at 60ºC
with a load of 10 kg is the reference programme for data en-
tered in the energy label, in compliance with 96/60/EC Direc-
tive. Set this programme to have a good washing results and
decrease the energy consumption. The time of the washing
programme is extended.
Synthetics Synthetic items or mixed fabric items. Normal soil.
Wash&Dry programme
NonStop 3h/3kg Mixed fabrics (cotton and synthetic items). Complete pro-
gramme to wash and dry laundry loads up to 3 kg in one go. It
only lasts 3 hours.
Washing programmes
Delicates Delicate fabrics such as acrylics, viscose and mixed fabrics
requiring gentler washing. Normal soil.
Silk Machine and hand washable silk and other delicate fabrics .
Drum movements are so gentle that is possible to treat even
very delicate garments. Run a complete wash and dry cycle to
reduce creases.
