4.2 INSTALLATION SITE
The Protect B is designed to be installed in a protected environment.
When installing the device, take factors such as sufficient ventilation and
appropriate environmental conditions into consideration.
Install the units in a way that ensures sufficient air circulation. Do not
block air intakes.
The UPS should not be operated at an ambient temperature of >35°C.
Install the devices in a room that is dry, relatively dust-free, and free from
chemical vapors.
Ensure that no magnetic storage media are stored and/or operated near
the Protect B.
Check whether the voltage and frequency specifications on the name-
plate correspond to the values that apply to your loads.
