Figures 4-4 shows the connections to measure the insulation of
one conductor to the other conductors. The cable should be dis-
connectedatbothendstoavoidleakagethroughswitchboardsand
panels.FortheModel6503,theconnectiontotheguardterminal
isusedtoeliminatetheeffectsofsurfaceleakageacrossexposed
insulationatoneendofthecable.RefertothesectiononUtilization
oftheGuardTerminal(§4.5).
