Figure 4-7 shows the connections for measuring the insulation of
a three-phase line to ground by connecting the jumpers between
phases.Thisgivesareadingofallconductorsatonce.Ifaloadsuch
asamotor,heater,etc.,isattachedtotheotherendoftheline,itwill
readtheloadresistancetogroundatthesametime.Byremoving
thejumpers,readingscanbemadebetweentheindividualconduc-
torsandground.
