The use of anti-vibration supports MUST be done in combination with the in-
stallation of exible couplings in the unit's water pipes. The anti-vibration sup-
ports must be xed to the unit BEFORE being earthed. AERMEC is not responsi-
ble for selecting the capacity of the anti-vibration supports;
Each side of the unit must have space to allow all routine and extraordinary
maintenance to be performed, the vertical air exhaust must not be obstructed.
MINIMUM TECHNICAL SPACES
For all units, it is fundamental to respect the minimum distances in order to guar-
antee optimal ventilation to the nned heat exchanger coils to avoid the following:
The generation of hazardous atmospheres in the case of refrigerant gas leaks;
Return of hot air;
Insucient air ow to the nned heat exchanger coils.
The place where the unit is installed must be accessible and permitted
only to authorised personnel. Provide a fence if necessary.
Each side of the unit: must have space to allow all routine and extraor-
dinary maintenance to be performed, the vertical air exhaust must not be
obstructed.
Only one side of the unit: may be near a wall, which may not be higher
than the unit.
The following images indicate the minimum required space:

Multiple installation
The minimum distances indicated above guarantee unit operation in the majority
of applications. There are however specic situations that involve the installation
of multiple units:
