For all the connections, follow the wiring
diagrams.
The connections must be made with the
connectors on the electronic card on
the side of the fan coil (protected by a
plastic box).
WARNING: the diagram showing the
connections of the electronic card to
the control board is printed inside its
box cover.
ELECTRICAL WIRINGS
Important – On standard units (with left-
hand side water connections) the con-
trol panel must also be installed on the
left. The thermostat box (VMF-0D or
VMF-E1D), instead, is fitted on the right
- Remove the casing of the fan coil unit.
Pay particular attention to the cables
of the air temperature sensor and the
micro-switch on the top. The sensor can
be removed from its mount loosening
the plug on the sensor mount.
- In case of installation with the coil con-
nection to the right side follow the
instructions of the unit manual to move
the thermostat to the left side.
- Identify the side part of the unit top,
opposite to the hydraulic connection
side.
- Recover the cover of the side part and
mount it on the corresponding side part
supplied with the accessory. .
- Push fit the circuit board to the bottom
of the side part.
- Push fit the 2 knobs.
- Connect the connector to the circuit
board.
- Mount the part just assembled to the
unit top. Pay particular attention to the
position of the micro-switch and the
knob for the opening and closing of the
louvres.
- Carry out all connections.
- Proceed with the installation of any
other accessories and the unit.
- Check the correct operation of the fan
coil unit.
