CHIN GUARD OPENING/CLOSING
To open the chin guard, pull the red button (1) downward.
(2) Accompany the chin guard during raising and always
check that the open position of the chin guard is correct.
type-approved as both Full-Face and Jet
helmet. If you wish to use it as a Jet helmet (with the chin guard
raised) you must insert the chin guard lock using the selec-
tor located on the right side of the helmet (with the helmet
on), taking it to “Lock” position (3).
NB: the selector can only be positioned to “Lock” with
the chin guard raised. Do not try to insert the chin guard
lock when it is lowered to avoid damaging the selector
and its chin guard locking function.
To close the chin guard, lower it until you feel it locking in
closed position. Check that the chin guard is correctly
closed, by trying to raise it without pressing the red button.
NB: before lowering the chin guard, always check that
the side selector is not in “Lock” position to avoid dama-
ging the selector and its chin guard locking function.
