7. Timer Operation
Setting the ON/OFF timer operation
1. When the unit is on, press the Timer button once to start timer o function and
“1” will be shown on the display. Every press of this button increases the AUTO-
OFF time by 1 hour (24 hours at most). When the time accumulates to “24”, press
the Timer button again and the air conditioner will quit timer function.
2. When the unit is o, press the Timer button once to start the timer on function
and “1” will be shown on the display. Every press of this button increases the
AUTO-ON time by 1 hour (24 hours at most). When the time accumulates to “24”,
press the Timer button again and the air conditioner will quit the timer function.
3. The display of AUTO-ON/OFF time will be decreased by one hour.
Cancelling the ON/OFF timer operation
1. Press the Timer button until the time accumulates to “24” (as in the steps
mentioned above).
2. Press Timer button once more and the air conditioner will quit the timer
function. The time and “hours on or “hours o will disappear on the remote
controller display. You can also press the CANCEL button to quit timer function.
NOTE:
• TIMER ON/OFF operation must be set again after a power failure.
• Once the AUTO-ON/OFF time is xed, if you want to change it, you should cancel
the previous AUTO-ON/OFF timer operation.
• If you press the TIMER button once incautiously after the AUTO-ON/OFF time is
xed, the system will count time anew based on the current display time.
