Cleaning and Maintenance
IMPORTANT: Clean the front grille and air lters at least once in every two weeks.
Before cleaning, be sure to stop operating the air conditioner and turn o the
breaker.
NOTE: The illustrations shown below are only for descriptive purposes. Please always
refer the actual product purchased while using these instructions.
Clean the Front Grille and Air Filters
1. Open the front grille by pulling the tabs on both sides and lift it up until it stops
with a click. Pull out the air lters.
2. Remove all dust on the front grille and air lters with a vacuum cleaner or brush.
(If the dust does not come o easily, wash the air lters with gentle detergent
dissolved in clean, warm water below 45
˚C
.)
3. Dry them thoroughly in the shade.
4. Once dry, insert the front grille and air lters back into their original position and
close the front grille.
5. Wipe the surface of the unit with moist cloth and then wipe it again with dry
cloth.
CAUTION: Do not use benzene, solvent, alkaline or other chemical products during
cleaning.
If you will not be using the air conditioner for a long, idle period
1. Set the fan going for a few hours to dry out the inside thoroughly. (Choose the
Cool mode or Heat mode and select the highest set temperature, then the fan
rotates.)
2. Switch the air conditioner o and unplug it from the wall socket. Clean the lters
and outer surface.
3. Take out the batteries from the remote controller.
