Playing
the
Pre-programmed
Voice
Data,

Variois
voices
have
been
stored
in
the
EWV2000's
64
memory
banks
upon
shipment
from
the
factory.
Each
bank
number
has
a
voice
name.
Now
try
playing
the
various
voices.
Procedure
(1)
Make
sure
the
EWV2000's
power
is
off.
(2)
Connect
the
EWI1000
or
EVI1000
controller
to
the
EWV2000
using
the
exclusive
control
cable
included
with
the
controller.
(3)
With
your
finger
on
the
controller's
glide
plate,
turn
the
EWV2000's
power
on,
and
press
the
AUTO
TUNE
button.
The
EWV2000's
VCOs
and
VCFs
are
now
automatically
set
to
the
op
timum
tuning.
(4) First,
adjust
the
BREATH
control
knob.
Without
blowing
into
the
mouthpiece,
turn
the
outer
BREATH
control
knob
clockwise
to
the
point
where
the
LED
lights,
then
turn
the
knob
slightly
back
counterclockwise
so
that
the
LED
turns
off.
The
adjustment
has
now
been
completed.

Next,
adjust
the
GLIDE
control
knob.
Without
touching
the
glide plate
for
the
EWI1000,
and
without
blowing
into
the
mouth
piece
for
the
EVI1000,
adjust
in
the
same
way
as
for
the
BREATH
control
knob.

Now
adjust
the
BEND
control
knob.
Without
touching
the
con
troller's
bend
plate,
adjust
in
the
same
way
as
for
the
GLIDE
con
trol
knob.
(7)
When
the
BREATH,
GLIDE,
and
BEND
control
knobs
have
been
adjusted,
check
that
the
LINE
OUT
jack
on
the
EWV2000
is
connected
to
an
amplifier
or
mixer.
To
listen
with
headphones,
connect
stereo
headphones
to
the
PHONES
jack,
and
adjust
the
output
level
with
the
LINE
OUT
knob.

Select
a
voice.
The
EWV2000
is
designed
so
that
the
voice
memory
banks
and
numbers
can
be
switched
by
using
the
VALUE
UP
and
DOWN
keys
and
BANK
and
NUMBER
but
tons
on
control
panel
or
by
using
the
foot
switch.
Switching

the

and
DOWN

increases
by
one
each
time
the
UP
key
is
pressed.

with
the
foot
switch
It
is
possible
to
switch the
banks
and
numbers
both
up
and
down
using
two
foot,
switches
and
a
stereo
cord
with
a stereo
phone
plug
and
two
standard
phone
jacks
(available
in
stores).
Or,
with
one
foot
switch
it
is
possible
to
switch
the
banks
and
numbers
up
only.

When
a
bank
and
number
are
selected,
the
bank
number
and
voice
name
appear
on
the
display
(LCD).

Blow
into
the
mouthpiece
and
play
the
controller.
Adjust
the
BREATH
SENSE
knob
so
that
playing
is
comforta
ble.
BREATH
ADJUST"®-
SENSE
When
the
knob
is
turned
to
"0",
it
is
only
possible to
play
by
blowing
hard.
At
"10",
sound
is
produced
even
when
you
blow
lightly.
Adjust
the
BREATH
SENSE
knob
according
to
your
"breath
power".
