WARNING
This
equipment
generates
and
uses
radio
frequency

The
EWV2000
is
a
sound
module
exclusively
for
use
with
the
EWI
1000
(woodwind
type)
or
EVI
1000
(brass/valve
type)
wind
instrument
style
controller.
This
manual
includes
detailed
explanations
of
operations,
etc.
de
signed
to
show
you
how
to
use
the
superior
functions
of
the
EWV2000
to
their
fullest
extent.
The
EWV2000
is
a
2-system
type
"analog
synthesizer
module"
with
2
VCOs,
2
VCFs,
2
VC
As,
and 4
EGs.
The
EVW2000
can
be
used
to
produce
a
rich
variety
of
expressions
with
the
breath
sensor,
lip
sensor,
and
touch
sensor
of
the
EWI
1000
or
EVI
1000
wind
instrument
controller,
including
rise
and
fall
of
the
tone,
strength
of
the
tone, pulse
width
modulation,
clarity
of
timbre,
vibration
effects,
and
glide
effects.
Using
the
two
synthesizers
makes
it
possible
to
create
a
variety
of
voices
and
play
in
a
variety
of
ways,
for
example
by
producing
two
different
sounds
simultaneously
or
slightly
varying
the
attack
and
sustain
for
the
two
sources.
The
EWV2000
is
equipped
with
64
built-in
memory
banks,
and
the
voice
in
each
bank
can
be
named.
MIDI
OUT
jacks,
so
an
external
MIDI
sound
source
or
sampler
can
also
be
played
from
the
EWI1000
or
EVI1000.
Audio
signals
can
be
input
from
an
external
component,
for
exam
ple
a
sampler,
and
mixed
with
the
synthesized
sound,
and
voices
and
expressions
can
be
created
using
the
sampled
sound.
16-character
LCD
dialogue-style
easy operation
improves
operabil-
ity
and
ease
of
verification
when
editing.
Equipped
with
tape
interface
for
external
storage
of
memory
files,
so
voice
data
can be
recorded
on
cassette
tapes.
64
ready-playable
voices
are
stored
in
the
memory
banks
upon
shipment.
These
voices
can
easily
be
used
as
a
base
for
creating
your
own
voices.
Polyphonic
play
of
up
to
4
sounds
is
possible
on
an
external
MIDI-
compatible
sound
source
using
the
programmed
polyphonic
chord
patterns.
