This cassette deck has a built-in timer start function. When
used
in
combination
with
an
optional
audio
timer,
recording
or
playback
can
be
started
automatically
at
any
programmed

preparing
for
recording,
set
the
timer
to
the
timer
oper-
ation
mode.
The
connected
audio
components
will
be
turned
off
automatically.

After
preparing
for
playback,
set
the
timer
to

mode.
The
connected
audio
components
will
be
turned
off
automatically.

START
switch
to
PLAY.

After timer controiied recording or
playback is finished
Set the TIMER START switch to OFF before turning on the
power of the cassette deck.
Note
@ Timer start recording or playback will begin 4 seconds af-
ter the power has been turned on.
@ Once the timer start function has begun the operation
buttons
can
be
used
freely
for
normal
recording
or
play-
back operation.

Make
sure
your
tape
is
of
sufficient
length
for
your
re-
cording
needs.

Do
not
forget
to
tune
in
the
station
you
wish
to
record
with
the
connected
tuner,
and
to
set
the
amplifier
for
broad-
cast
station
recording.

Normally,
keep
the
VOLUME
control
set
to
the
minimum
position
during
timer
controlled
recording.
If
you
wish
to
listen
while
recording,
set
the
VOLUME
control
to
the
nor-
mal
listening
level.
