(E) Set RESET BUTTON and set IND EX COU N TER to "0000" .
This I ND EX COUNTER p ro vides a reference for locatlns any position on
the tape.
(F) Insert microphone plugs i nto MICROPHONE JACKS (LEFT and RIGHn.
Maintain a distance of at least seven feet between the microphones.
(G) Push INSTANT STOP / PAUSE LEVER upward unt il it locks.
(H) Turn RECORD / PLAYBACK LEVER to "REC" position while depressi ng
RECORD INT ERLOCK BUTTON.
