For qu ality performance it is imperative that tape recorder heads be kept clean at all times.
Dust and magnetic particl es from the tape tend to deposit on the heads after prolonged u se of the recorder. This results in poor head-to-ta pe cont ac t dcterlorat•
ing sound quality and sensitivity . Such dust also caus s drastic drops In recording/playback levels and affects high quality s ound .

AKAl's Head Cleaning Kit (Accessory NO . HC •500J is recommended for remov•
ing foreign matter deposited on the head s. If this kit is not available, use
alcohol.
NOTE : Clean the heads after se tt ing t he RECORD/PLAYBACK LEVER to
"PLAY" .
