SEARCH AND DIAL CONTACT
Select MENU > EXT. PHONEBOOK (3).
The Alcatel Lucent 8135S contacts the database which sends all contacts. The rst 50 contacts are
displayed in the Alcatel Lucent 8135S (with default setting).
Enter one or more search characters to lter the list.
Each character you enter will reduce the number of hits in the database.
If there is a > in front of the information about the number of hits, it means there are
more than these but they are not displayed.
Enter the search characters until the number of hits are so few that it is easy for you to
nd the contact you are looking for.
You can delete an incorrect character by pressing the C button.
Turn to page 5 for information on how to use the keypad to enter text.
Mark the contact you want using the arrow buttons and open it by pressing OK.
Press C if you want to return to the search results or MENU to end the search.
Mark the number you want to call (if several numbers are displayed for the contact) and
press OK or
