Security status
• Google Play Protect: Google Play Protect regularly checks your apps and
device for harmful behavior. You’ll be notified of any security risks found.
• Find My Device: Find My Device helps you locate this device remotely. It
also helps you keep your data safe if the device is lost.
• Security Update: Check for updates.
• Function shortcuts: Customize the application shortcuts displayed on your
lock screen.
• Screen lock: Set your screen unlock method. For example, you can
unlock your phone by sliding the screen, entering a password, or drawing
a pattern. You can make pattern visible, select the duration to lock the
phone after the screen is off, or input owner information which will display
on the locked screen.
• Lock screen preferences: Choose how notification content is displayed on
your lock screen.
• Smart Lock: With a Screen lock method enabled, your phone will detect
when it's safe with you, such as is your pocket or at your home.
• Location: Tap the switch to enable the use of information from Wi-Fi and
cellular networks to determine your approximate location, for use in Google
Maps Go, when you search, and so on. When you select this option, you’re
asked whether you consent to share your location anonymously with
Google’s location service.
• Make passwords visible: Switch the toggle to show passwords as you type.
• Auto device wipe: Activate auto device wipe.
