or ECO modes).

on the HRV
and/or ducts

the HRV
• HRV is not balanced

around insulated duct
• Hole in exible duct
• Tape and seal all joints and
duct connecons
• Repair any holes in exible
duct
• Call contractor to balance
the HRV and verify defrost

the HRV

or drainage pan.
• Improper connecon

• Remove obstrucons or
kinks in the drainage tube
• Open HRV and check for
material blocking the
drainage holes.
• Adjust the mounng chains
or bracket so that the HRV
is level

the 20/40/60
minute
timer cycle is

dampers remains open

set to a high speed mode

occupancy, etc...)
• Check the bathroom
exhaust terminals to ensure
that the dampers are fully
closed.
• Wait a maximum of 30
minutes for defrost cycle to
complete.
