Ensure that batteries and chargers are not left unsupervised during
charging.
15. Do not recharge non-rechargeable batteries, as they can overheat
and break.
16. Longer life and better performance can be obtained if the battery
pack is charged when the air temperature is between 18°C and
24°C. Do not charge the battery pack in air temperatures below
0°C, or above 40°C. This is important as it can prevent serious
damage to the battery pack.
17. Only charge the supplied battery with the charger supplied with this
lawn mower.
Important information – Product care
NOTE: This lawn mower uses Lithium Ion Battery Cells. Care MUST
be taken to ensure both the safety and life of the pack is maintained.
Ensure you have read all of the safety notes in the previous pages be-
fore using the lawn mower.
Treat the battery pack with care and within the guidelines of this man-
ual.
If the battery pack does become immersed in water or any uids, or is
subject to a severe drop or it does not operate within the guidelines of
this manual or the supplied manual, immediately STOP using the bat-
tery pack and have it checked.
Use only the supplied Lithium-Ion battery and charger supplied with
this lawn mower. Do not use other any other batteries of chargers with
this lawn mower.

In case of emergency
In case of a possibly occurring accident take the necessary rst aid steps
as appropriate and obtain qualied medical aid as quickly as possible.
During longer work, because of vibrations, there is a risk of circulation
problems in the user‘s hands (white-nger-syndrome). White-nger-syn
-
drome is a vascular disease where the small blood vessels in ngers
and toes contract seizure-like. The aected areas are no longer supplied
with blood and therefore look very pale. Frequent use of vibrating ma
-
chines can cause nerve damage in people whose circulation is compro-
mised (e.g. smokers, people with diabetes).
If you notice unusual impairment, immediately stop the work and consult
a doctor. Observe the following notices in order to reduce risks:
• Keep your body, and particularly your hands, warm in cold weather.
• Take regular breaks during which you should move your hands to
promote circulation.
• Ensure the lowest possible vibration of the machine by regularly main

taining it and keeping components tight.
