5. When using the unit onboard a ship, first fasten
it firmly with straps (A) or similar to fixing points.

Never separate an unfiltered system without a strainer
fitted to the pu m p inlet. In such a case, use the special
suction pipe with the built-on strainer.

Do not connect the return outlet to a pressuriz e d system
with the same or higher pressure than the pressure
switch set point (50 kPa). Oth erwise the safety function
of the switch will be overridden, which implies that the
pump can operate without flow.

Be sure the mains fulfil the voltage requ ire m en t. The
frequency converter fitted in the control c ab inet will
cut off the power at voltage spikes or at too high/low
voltage (±10%).
