The control will regulate the fan speed based on information re-
ceived from the input/output board. The spin speed will increase
or decrease, within a defined range between the maximum and
minimum spin speeds, depending how the current temperature
reading compares to the previous temperature reading. This fea-
ture is only available if the second thermistor is installed and the
control is configured for it and only happens in Run Mode for
heat cycles during the drying phase. If the thermistor reaches its
high limit, the heat will turn off and remain off until the thermis-
tor reaches its low limit. If the control is not able to read a tem-
perature from the input/output board, the control will not use Air-
flow Optimization and will set the fan to its nominal spin speed.
