PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE CORRECTION
Forward or reverse oil
clutch not releasing.
Broken or weak release springs. Check springs and replace as necessary.
Warped frictions or separators. Replace as necessary.
Lube pressure high. Test and re-set cooling oil relief valve.
Forward clutch engaging
or releasing slowly.
Improper orientation of forward
clutch and clutch shaft.
Remove and reinstall shaft with proper alignment,
see Section 4 of Service Manual.
