When the screw pump has been mounted the
following work must be carried out:
S Align coupling (see Section 5.4).
S Attach supply/suction and pressure pipelines.
S Attach manometer lines, manometers and brackets
to pump.
S Attach contact protection.
S The power supply cable must be connected to the
motor by an authorized electrician. Electrical danger
must be eliminated! Pay attention to direction of
rotation.
S Fill pump with fluid.
Start up pump as per instructions in Section 6.
7.3 Replacement parts/spare parts
The parts marked with footnote À in the parts list can
be provided as replacement/spare parts.
However, for operational safety reasons, we recom-
mend you always stock a complete standby pump.
The advantage is that in the event of a fault or damage
the standby unit can replace the non–functioning unit
quickly and without great effort.
When ordering spare and replacement parts, besides
the part number, denomination and quantity, the fol-
lowing should also be quoted:
Pump abbreviation,
Pump number,
Year of construction.
This information is engraved on the rating plate of the
pump.
