Pull safety switch out in dash or
on head
Gathering belts / rotating
knives will not turn
Belts too tight Loosen belts
Clutch not on Turn on clutch
Belts plugged at concave lip
with material
Turn off machine. Remove plug
manually
Conveyor belt is loose Tighten belt (see conveyor
adjustment)
Lacing or pin broken Fix or replace lacing, pin, or belt
Header drive chain broken Repair or replace chain
Drive Sprocket loose or broken Tighten set screws, replace key
or sprocket
Header feeder / pinch belts will
not turn
Safety switch is depressed
(optional)
Pull safety switch out in dash or
on head
THRESHING CYLINDER
Cylinder plugged with material Turn off machine. Remove
manually
Bearing failure (worn, frozen) Replace bearings
Sprocket or pulley failure Repair or replace
Threshing cylinder will not turn
Chain or belt broken Replace chain or belt
Machine not running or clutch
not engaged
Start machine and engage
clutch before adjusting
Cannot adjust threshing
cylinder speed
Variable pitch sheave failure Repair or replace
