CYCLONE BLOWER
Clutch not engaged Turn clutch switch on
Loose or broken drive belt Tighten or replace belt
Key in drive pulley or variable
pulley sheared
Repair or replace as necessary
Blower does not turn
Bearing failure Replace bearings
Loose impeller blade Replace impeller
Bearing failure Replace bearing
Blower makes unusual noise
Impeller rubbing on housing Adjust shaft position or replace
bad impeller
ENGINE
Ground drive not in neutral Position lever in neutral
Clutch, transfer auger, or
unload auger switch is on
Move these switches to the off
position
Brake switch is off Turn Brake Switch to on
Dead battery Charge battery or replace
Battery disconnect switch in
“OFF” position
Turn disconnect switch to “ON”
Faulty ignition switch Replace ignition switch
Faulty starter Replace starter
Faulty neutral safety switch Replace switch
Bad starter relay Replace relay
Engine does not turn over
Poor battery cable connections Clean battery posts and tighten
cable connections
Air in fuel Check fuel lines / fittings bleed
as necessary
Check / replace fuel lift pump
Check fuel shut off solenoid
Engine turns over but fails to
start
Not getting fuel
Check fuel inline filter
Water in fuel Change fuel filter Engine starts, but runs rough
or kills often
Plugged air cleaner Clean air cleaner
Engine over heated Allow engine to cool
Plugged Oil Cooler and Fan Clean with compressed air or
high pressure washer and mild
solvent
Bad sensor Replace sensor
Engine Temperature Light is
lit
Bad relay Replace relay
Operator Presence System
shut engine down
Refer to engine starting
procedure to restart engine
Engine Temperature System
shut engine down
Engine has overheated. Allow
time to cool before restarting
Out of Fuel Add Diesel fuel, turn electric fuel
pump on, and restart engine.
Bleed return lines if necessary
Engine shut down
Plugged fuel filter Replace filter
