SPEAKER IMPEDANCE
SELECTOR
Generally. impedance of car speakers is 4 Ohms. For
2-speaket operation, set the Speaker Impedance Selector to
‘me “4” position. However, when ‘' | Snm speakers are
connected in parallel as shown below. the total impedance.
becomes 2 Ohms, so set the selector to the "20° position.

SAFETY MEASURE USING
2 GR MORE AMPLIFIERS
The Alpine 3521/3519 amplilier features a special protection
measure. If you are using two or more ampliliers, this fealure
will prevent unsate levels of current from flowing to other
camponenis, such as the other amplifier(s}, Alpine Equalizer
(3015, 3311, etc.), or Alpine Electronic Active Dividing
Network (3651, 3652) that you may have in your system. tf you
have two or more Alpine 3521/3519 amplifiers, be sure to
leave all the fuses intact in your first amplilier. From the other
ampliliers, remove all 3-ampere fuses for ignition and baltery
(1). (See drawing).
But, do nol remove the 25/15 ampere fuses for ballery (2).

VORSICHTSMABDREGELN BEIM GESRAUCH VON
2 ODER MEHR VERSTARKERN
Die Aipine Verstarker 3521/3519 sind mit einer spezieilen
Sicherung ausgeristet. Diese Sicherung verhindert, da3
beim Gebrauch von 2 oder mehr Verstarkern zu grofe
Stromstafe andere Bausteine beschadigen, wie z.8. die
anderen Verstarker, Alpine Frequenzgangkorrekiuriilter
(3015, 3311, etc.), oder die Alpine Elektronische Aklivire-
quenzweiche (3651,3652), die Sie in Ihrem System haben
kénnten. Sollten Sie zwei oder mehr Alpine 3521/3519
Verstarker benutzen, stellen Sie sicher, daf alle Siche-
fungen in Ihrem ersten Verstarker in Ordnung sind.
Entfernen Sie aus alien anderen Verstarkern die 3 Ampere
Sicherungen fur Ziindung und Batterie (1). (Siehe Zeich-
nung).
Aber entfernen Sie nicht die 25/15 Ampere Sicherungen
fur die Batterie (2).

ci-dessous, limpédance totale qui en résulle est de 2 Ohms,
et vous devez donc placer le sélecteur sur ta position
“2 Ohms”.

AMPLIFICATEURS OU PLUS
Uamplificateur Alpine 3521/3519 posséde un disposilif de
sécurité particulier. Si vous ulilisez deux amplilicateurs,
ou plus, ce dispositil évite !a circulation d'un courant
nélaste vers ies autres éléments. (els le(s) aulte(s}
amplilicateur(s), !égatiseur Alpine (3015, 3311. etc.) ou le
réseau tépartiteur électronique actif Alpine (3651. 3652)
qui peuvent se trouver dans votre systeme. Si vous avez
deux amplilicateurs Alpine 3521/3519, ou pius, assurez-
vous de laisser en place tous les fusibles de votre premier
amoplificateur. Retirez tous les lusibles de 3 ampéres des
autres amplilicaleurs e! destinés au conlact et a la
batterie (1}. (Reportez-vous au schéma.) Mais ne retirez
a les tusibies de 25/15 ampeéres destinés a !a batterie

MISURE Di SICUREZZA PER L'USO DI2 0 PIU
AMPLIFICATORI ‘
L'amplificatore ALPINE 3521/3519 dispone di uno spe-
ciale dispositivo di sicurezza. Se usale pit di un amplilica-
tore, tale dispositivo evila lingresso di correnti di livello
eccessivo in attri componenti, come ad esempio gli attri
amplificatori, 'equalizzatore Alpine (3015, 3311 ecc.)
oppure ia rete elettronica Alpine di divisione atliva (3651,
3652) che potrebbero essere coilegali a! vostro sistema
Se usate due 3521/3519 0 piv. siate certi che i! primo di
essi abbia fusibili intatti, Estraete invece i fusibili da 3
ampere per f'accensione e la balteria {1} dagh alta
amplilicatori (vedi i! disegno)
Ma non rimuovete i fusibili da 25/15 ampere della balleria.

Generahiivic, la impedancia de los allavoce:

allavoces en la posicién “4Q". Sin embargo, si
conectara !os allavoces de 4 ohmios en paralelo
como se ilustra, la impedancia total sera ce 2
ohmios. En este caso, coloque el selector en ta
posicién "20",

MEDIDA DE SEGURIDAD PARA EL EMPLEO DE 2
O MAS AMPLIFICADORES
El ampliticador Alpine 3521/3519 posee una funcién
especial de proteccién. Cuando emplee dos o mas
amoplilicadores, esta funcién evitara ef flujo de niveles de
corriente excesivos a olros Componentes tales como
amplificadores, ecualizadores Alpine (3015, 3311. etc.) 0
fedes divisoras electronicas activas Alpine (3651, 3652)
que puedan figurar en el sistema. Si empleara dos 0 mas
amplilicadores Alpine 3521/3519, asegurese ce dejar
todos los fusibles intactos en e! primero de ellos.
Rernueva todos los fusibles de 3 arnperios para ignicion y
bateria (1) de los demas amplilicadores (ver ilustracion)},
pero no los de 25/15 amperios para bateria (2)
