Packing
Introduction
The various component parts of the switchgear are divided into a number
of packages for transport. The number of packages and their individual
contents are dependant on the dimensions of the circuit breaker pole.
Example
S A main case, which contains :
-- The poles.
-- The frame components, if it is provided by ALSTOM Grid.
S A case containing the operating mechanisms, vacuum--packed in a
heat--welded plastic cover containing bags of desiccant.
S A case containing the cable box.
S Depending on the individual situation, one case contains the SF
6
gas
bottle(s), or the SF
6
and CF
4
bottles.
S One case contains any anciliaries required for fitting (grease, oil, etc.).
S One case contains the accessories : Spare parts, etc.
