to 8 hours, then check the reading. If
temperature is not within 0° to + 2°F,
adjust control as needed, one number
at a time and check the temperature
again after 4 to 6 hours.
REFRIGERATOR: Place the thermom-
eter ina glass of water and place the
glass in the middle of the refrigerator
section. See Figure 48. Be sure air can

Energy Saver Control
The 2-Position Energy Saver Control
lets yousave energyby adjustingrefrig-
eratoroperationto the humiditylevelin
yourhouse.See Figure49. Duringhot,
humidweather, any refrigerator/freezer
willform moisture aroundthe doors,
similar to the way condensateforms on
a glass of ice water. The cabinet has
special heaters to minimize thisconden-
sation. The Energy SaverControl lets
youcontrolthe amount of heat the
heaters are givingoff.
The upper position is for periodsof
high humidity.
The lower position turns the heaters
off for maximum energy savings. Use
for periodsof low humidity.
A minimum amount ofcondensationis
normal.Duringextreme high humidity,
condensate may alsoform on the cabi-
