3.3 IO-100
1. Verify the Paystation is connected to the network and powered ON.
2. Verify a laptop with Advanced IP Scanner is available.
3. Verify the laptop is connected to the same network as the Paystation.
4. Open Advanced IP Scanner and press Scan. Find the IP address of the
IO100. Click the Mac Address column to sort by MAC address. Match the
MAC address with the MAC address printed on the IO100.
5. Once the IP address of the Paystation IO100 is found, open a web browser
and enter the IP address of the IO100 into the web browser address bar.
Press Enter.
6. The IO100 web page will request a username and password. Enter the
username Admin and the password Admin. Press Enter.
7. Change the password and make a record of the new password. Log out of
the board and log back into the board (using the new password) to complete
the change.
8. Verify the Firmware Version of the IO100 is at least r792 in the System
Information section.
[Fig. 3.3A] A firmware version of 5.x.x designates OPUS (TCP/IP) firmware
9. Use section 4.3.1 if the Firmware Version is below r792. Use section 4.3.2 if
the Firmware Version is r792 or above.
