12. Click Update.

13. Follow the on-screen instructions.

14. Once the on-screen instructions have finished, click OK on the CLMUpdate

window.

15. Open Version Display to verify the SmartCash firmware was updated.

4.3 Updating the IO100

4.3.1 IO100 Revision r791 and Earlier

Please update the IO100 if it is on revision 791 or earlier. Follow the

instructions below to update the IO100 to the latest version using the USB

flash drive recovery method.

1. Download the latest IO100 firmware from Amano McGann University and

copy the firmware folder to a flash drive. The firmware will need to be the only

file on the drive.

2. Power the Paystation OFF.

3. Plug the IO100 firmware USB flash drive into the USB port of the IO100.

4. Turn the Paystation ON.

The IO100 will execute a series of updating procedures in the background.

This process can take up to two minutes. Once the IO100 has finished, LED

U52 will blink green in the resemblance of a heartbeat.

5. Once LED U52 is blinking in a heartbeat rhythm, power OFF the Paystation

and remove the USB IO100 flash drive.

6. Resume the configuration of the IO100 from section 4.3.2 Revision 792 and

Above.
