OPUS-7000 Installation Manual
4.3.2 Revision 792 and Above
The IO100 needs to be configured so it can be reached easily over the
network. Once the IO100 has a static IP address, an .hdf file needs to be
uploaded to the board for input and output configuration.
Note: To use the SD card to set the IP address, the IO100 must be
firmware revision 792 or higher.
1. If the certificates are not already created, refer to the SSL Certificate
Instructions found on Amano McGann University for instructions to create the
IO100 certificates using the AMICA Certificate Creator.
2. Power the OPUS-7000 OFF.
3. Take a blank SD card and insert it into the SD2 port of the IO100.

4. Change iCore dip switches 6-8 to the OFF (upwards) position.
5. Power the OPUS-7000 ON and wait for it to boot to the idle screen.
6. Once the Paystation is fully booted, turn the Paystation OFF and remove the
SD card from the IO100.
7. Insert the SD Card into a laptop and browse to the SD Card in Windows
Explorer.
8. Open the config file with Notepad or Notepad++.
9. Change the IP Address field to the desired IP address of the IO100.
10. Once the change is made, save the config file and remove the SD card from
the laptop.
11. Insert the SD card back into the IO100 SD2 card slot.
12. Power ON the Paystation.
13. Navigate to the IO100 web page by opening a web browser and entering:
“https://(new IP Address in eth0)” into the address bar. The IO100 web page
will load to a log in screen. It is safe to remove the SD card from the IO100.
Note: If the web browser gives a trusted site warning, click the option
that proceeds to the web page.
14. Log in to the IO100.
15. Hover over the Network tab and click Configuration.
