7.2-7 If it is a new skin without electrode holes, put on
the hole markers.
7.2-9 Press the hole markers through the new hole.
Remove the marker and the electrode is “ready” for use.
Test of defi brillation electrodes and circuit
A. Measure the resistance between the two electrodes by means of an ohmmeter. The reading should be approx. 50 ohm.
B. Connect the Ambu Man to the computer. Defi brillate on the electrodes and check that defi brillation is registered on
the computer (please refer to directions for use on the CPR/ECG module).
7.2-8 Use a punch knife to make new holes.
