Note: Your AMD FirePro V7900 SDI comes with 4 DisplayPort-to-DVI adapters (single-
link, active).
Once displays are connected to the graphics card, you can control how they are
currently configured as well as how desktops appear on the displays using the Control
Center software application. Common configuration tasks include:
•
Adding and removing displays
•
Rotating displays
•
Setting the main (primary) display
•
Duplicating and extending desktops
•
Arranging desktops

Multiple Displays
AMD FirePro V7900 SDI graphics cards with four DisplayPort connections provide
display functionality for up to four displays in Windows® 7, Windows Vista®, or
Linux®. The following are the maximum possible configurations (using adapters
where necessary):
•
4 × DisplayPort
•
4 × dual-link DVI
•
4 × VGA
•
4 × single-link DVI
Note: 4 × active single-link DVI adaptors are included with your graphics card.
•
2 × HDMI
Adapters not included with your AMD FirePro V7900 SDI can be purchased directly
from AMD’s Web site or through your local AMD resellers.
Different types of displays can be combined within the following parameters:
•
Your AMD FirePro V7900 SDI has two clocks and four DisplayPort connections.
•
Two active displays (DisplayPort, active single-link DVI, dual-link DVI, and VGA)
can share a clock, while passive displays (passive single-link DVI and HDMI)
require a separate clock per device.
