default value is 8. In general Class A network is 24 bits, Class B is 16 bits and Class A 
is 8 bits.

SYSTem:COMMunicate:LAN:DEFault 
This  command  will  apply  the  changes  in  LAN  setting  to  the  default  setting.  The 
controller will go to reset condition and the default LAN setting will take effect. Both IP 
address  and  Gate  way  address  are  set  to  zero.  The  Host  name  is  cleared.  The 
password is reset to “admin”The unit is set to DHCP or Auto IP.

SYSTem:COMMunicate:LAN:DESCription 
This command will set the user description. The description is limited to 24 characters

SYSTem:COMMunicate:LAN:GWADdress 
This command will set the LAN Gateway address. The query format returns the Gateway 
address set. To query the actual gateway address used by the LAN interface (in case the IP 
address  is  not  static  but  assigned  by  a  DHCP  server),  the  NCON  parameter  (Network 
Connection Setting) must be added to the query. The default value is 0.0.0.0. Note: If the 
power supply is connected to a router that does not have a gateway (ie the uplink port is not 
connected on the router) then a random IP address will appear on the gateway when it is 
queried.
