The APEX module supports the following conditional programming for zones and
system state:
Conditionals Supported by the Apex module
Conditional Description
Trigger Zone event – if selected zone number is triggered.
Bypassed Zone event – if the selected zone is bypassed.
Default Zone event – if the zone returns to the default state.
Trouble Zone event – if trouble is detected with the zone.
In addition to the zone conditionals, the following system conditionals will
evaluate to TRUE after the associated physical event occurs: Arm, Disarm, Exterior
Instant, Exterior Delay 1, Exterior Delay 2, Interior Instant, Interior Delay 1, Interior
Delay 2, Restore, Fire, Panic, Silent, Emergency, Duress, AC Fail, AC Restore, Fuse
Trouble, Fuse Restore, Arm With Zones open, Low Battery, Battery Restore, Fail to Arm,
Fail to Disarm, Expander Trouble, Expander Restore.
A state change will only affect the associated conditional. (i.e., the “AC Fail”
message will only affect the AC Status state; all other system states would remain
unaffected).
Menus
Using the menu Autogenerating function in Landmark Designer will produce the
following menu items for PHAST DMS and IMS keypads. These items emulate a
corresponding keypress on the APEX keypad.

On power-up, the current
state of the system and zone
status is not reported. The
system and zone states are
initially set to “Undefined”.
