The Anchor Audio Mini is a wearable, ultra-lightweight portable PA system designed for hands-free portability and clear sound projection for crowds of 100+. Weighing just 2.5 lbs, it can be easily carried in its soft case. The Mini operates on either AC power or battery power, providing 100 dB of sound output. With a single charge, the battery can power the system for 10-12 hours.

Function Description:

The Mini serves as a portable public address system, capable of amplifying voices and playing pre-recorded audio. It supports both wired and wireless microphones, and can connect to external audio devices via its Line In port. The system is designed for ease of use, with a simple volume control and pairing process for wireless microphones.

Usage Features:

Power Options: The Mini can be powered by an AC cord plugged into a wall outlet or by 10 AA-sized batteries (alkaline or rechargeable NiMH).
Volume Control: A single OFF/VOL knob controls the master volume of the speaker, affecting both audio sources and microphones.
Wired Microphone Input: A 1/4" MIC port is available for connecting wired microphones.
External Audio Device Connectivity: A 3.5mm LINE IN port allows connection of laptops, audio devices, or other external sound sources. The volume of external audio can be controlled via the Mini's master volume knob or the source device's controls.
Wireless Microphone Support (Optional): Models equipped with wireless receivers can pair up to two AnchorLink wireless microphones (handheld or belt pack). The pairing process involves holding the PAIRING button on the Mini until the indicator light flashes, then activating the microphone's MUTE button until its light flashes and then becomes solid. Once paired, the microphone will automatically sync with the speaker on subsequent uses.

Maintenance Features:

Battery Installation: The Mini requires 10 AA-sized batteries, inserted into a double-sided battery pack located under the back panel.
Rechargeable Battery Kit (RC-30 Optional Accessory): For frequent users, the RC-30 kit includes 10 Nickel-Metal Hydride (NiMH) rechargeable batteries and an AC Charging adapter. New rechargeable batteries require a 6-hour initial charge. One hour of charging provides one hour of playtime.
Battery Cycling: To extend battery life, it is recommended to fully charge rechargeable batteries once a month during periods of infrequent use and always before storing. Only NiMH batteries should be recharged to prevent explosion.
Troubleshooting Guide: The manual includes a comprehensive troubleshooting section for common issues like no sound, wireless mic connectivity problems, poor wireless range/quality, distorted sound, excessive feedback, and hum/noise.
Cleaning: Unplug the product from the wall outlet before cleaning. Use a damp cloth; avoid liquid or aerosol cleaners.
Service and Repair: For service or repair, users must contact Anchor Audio Technical Support to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Products must be shipped prepaid in their original packaging.
Warranty: Anchor Audio products come with a SIX (6) YEAR warranty for all products, FOUR (4) YEARS for Lithium-Ion Batteries, and TWO (2) YEARS for wireless microphones, wired microphones, and peripheral products. The warranty is subject to conditions such as purchase from an authorized dealer, Anchor Audio performing or authorizing services, and proper use. AA batteries are not covered under warranty.
