Damage to the sealed edge of the finished product can be caused by several factors. The dough skin might be too thick; the best dough thickness is two times the thickness of the sealing edge. The dough extrusion speed might be too fast, so try slowing it down. The dough could also be too hard, aim for a water content of 38-45% of the flour weight. Finally, there might be too much stuffing, so do not exceed the maximum recommended amount.
