4 Operation
4.1 To do before you operate the
product
Caution! If the product has been tilted more than 45°,
leave the product upright for at least 24 hours before it is
started.
● Check for damage or scratches on the product when it is
unpacked.
4.2 To operate the product
Warning! Do not use the product outdoors.
Warning! The ventilation opening must be clear from
obstructions.
1 Connect the power plug to a power outlet.
2 Make sure the water tank is fitted in the product.
3 Press the power button to start the product. The
product starts in default mode with high fan speed
and humidity 60% or in the last selected mode.
Note! The compressor of the product has a protective delay
of 3 minutes.
4 Push the mode button to select mode. See “5.3 Mode
guide” on page 45
Note! It is normal for the air outlet to be warm after continu-
ous operation on hot days.
5 Push the power button to stop the operation of the
product. The indicator light goes out and the
compressor stops. The fan will stop after 30 seconds.
3 Installation
3.1 To install the product
Warning! The product must be installed in rooms
which larger than 4 m.
Warning! Do not install the product in places where
inflammable gas may leak.
Warning! Do not install the product close to walls,
curtains, or other products that may block the air filter and
the air outlet.
● Place the product on a firm, level surface with at least 30
cm of free space around it. (Figure 2)
● Do not install the product where it can be subject to:
• Heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves
or other units that produce heat.
• In an area whit risk of splashed water or oil.
• Direct sunlight.
• Mechanical vibration or shock.
• Excessive dust.
• Lack of ventilation
3.1.1 To install continuous drainage
With continuous drainage the water produced in the product
automatically flows into a bucket or a drain by gravity.
(Figure 4)
1 Push the power button to stop the operation of the
product.
2 Put the product in stable on a horizontal surface
3 Remove the plug from the continuous drainage
outlet. Store the plug for future use.
4 Connect the drain hose to the continuous drainage
outlet on the product.
5 Make sure that the drain hose is clear of obstructions
and that it is not kinked.
6 Place the outlet of the drain hose over a drain or
bucket. The drain hose must have an inclination that
exceeds 20 degrees.
7 Straighten the hose to prevent traps in the drain hose.
Note! Do not submerge the end of hose into water, as this
can cause an air lock in the hose.
