Overview

The AnyTone MINI CB RADIO is a compact and versatile Citizens Band (CB) radio designed for communication. It features a user-friendly interface with clearly labeled controls and an LCD display for easy operation.

Function Description:

The radio offers essential CB communication functionalities, including:

  • Squelch Control (SQ/ASQ): Allows users to adjust the squelch level to filter out background noise. The SQ function provides a manual squelch from O.F (off) to 2.8 levels, while the ASQ (Automatic Squelch) function offers automatic squelch from A.1 to A.9 levels. A higher squelch level requires a stronger signal to open the speaker.
  • RF Gain Control (RFG): Enables adjustment of the receiver's sensitivity to optimize signal reception, particularly in areas with strong or weak signals. The RFG level can be set from 0 to 6, where a level of 6 indicates an attenuation of 6dBm.
  • Channel Control: Users can easily navigate between channels using the UP/DN keys. Holding these keys allows for fast channel changing.
  • Mode Control: The radio supports both AM (Amplitude Modulation) and FM (Frequency Modulation) modes, selectable via the A/F key. The LCD displays the currently selected mode.
  • Emergency Channel Access: Dedicated EMG key for quick access to emergency channels CH9 and CH19. Pressing the key sequentially switches between CH9, CH19, and returns to the last normal channel.
  • Keypad Lock: A security feature that locks the keypad to prevent accidental changes. Holding the EMG key for over 2 seconds locks the keys, displaying "LC" on the LCD. Holding it again unlocks them, displaying "OF". In lock mode, all keys except PTT (Push-To-Talk) are invalid.
  • Scan Function: Allows the radio to automatically scan through channels. Activated by holding the A/F key, displaying "SC" on the LCD. Users can change the scan direction using the UP/DN keys and exit the function with the A/F or PTT key.
  • Norms Control: Enables selection of different operating norms. By holding the A/F key during power-on, the LCD displays the norms, allowing users to choose desired settings with the UP/DN keys. A power cycle is required to apply the new norms.
  • Power On/Off and Volume Control (VOL): A combined rotary switch for powering the radio on/off and adjusting the speaker volume. Turning clockwise powers on and increases volume, while turning anti-clockwise powers off and decreases volume.
