ANAN-200D Antenna Connections
The ANAN-200D provides multiple ways a user can connect antennas and provides great flexibility with
numerous options for transmit and receive. Three [3] different Antennas can be connected to the back of the
ANAN-200D and be configured to support send or receive on all or a selection of bands by each Antenna. This
can be configured on the Ant/Filters tab and additional configuration detail follows later in this manual.
Your ANAN Transceiver assumes a 50 Ohm standard antenna will be connected to Ants 1-3. The ANAN-200D
does not have a built in Antenna tuner and therefore unless your antenna’s have a resonant 2:1 SWR, an
external tuner should be used to optimized antenna SWR and performance.
The Transceiver provides limited isolation between the Ant 1, Ant 2 and Ant 3 connections by sending the signal
to ground and attenuating the receivers input during transmit. Additional attenuation can be selected via the
ATT to TX setting on the Ant/Filters tab in PowerSDR MRX Settings.
A very nice feature of the ANAN-200D is it’s ability to monitor your transmit signal on the receivers while
transmitting. If you select DUP [DUPLEX] on the main screen in PowerSDR MRX the transmit signal will be visible
on the Panadapter while you transmit allowing you to visually monitor your signal. You must be in Panadapter or
Panafall modes to see your signal.
