2.24) Clamp the rear tub mounting bracket to the side
of the vehicle’s tub lip at the correct distance from
the front brackets. Ensure the bracket is
pushed down so the bumpons on the
underside of the bracket engage to top of the
side vehicle tub rails. Drill 6.5mm holes
through the exiting holes at the top of the
brackets where they mate up to the lip on the
vehicle’s tub. Ensure a 12mm deep drill stop
is fitted first. Remove any swarf.
2.25) Apply rust inhibitor to the holes. Fit M6 x 20 mm
hex bolts with M6 x 25mm flat washer under their
heads through the bracket holes and on the
inside secure these in place with M6 wizzlock
flange nuts (6151173). Do these up to 9Nm.
