6.25) The nut plates at the back rear corners of the
bed liner have double sided tape on the back.
After prising them off the vehicle, remove the
old tape by scraping it off the nut plates.
Replace the tape by priming the back of the
plate with the 665044 primer pencil and apply
tape 6672001 from the kit to the bracket and
cut to fit it to the edges of the brackets.
6.26) Fit the rear tub sealing brackets from the
canopy kit as in steps 4.34 to 4.43. Prise the
corners of the liner back while fitting the
brackets.
6.27) Remove the tape at the rear flanges of the bed
liner. Replace it by priming the bed liner using
the 665044 primer pencil and apply 2 of
6672001 doubled sided tape strips per side.
6.28) Once the tailgate sealing brackets are fitted,
then press the nut plates screwed to the bed
liner into the corners of the vehicle’s tub with
firm pressure to retain the bed liner against the
rear tub sealing brackets. Apply firm pressure to
the bed liner rear flanges to hold engage the
tape to the vehicle tub.
6.29) Refit the rubber extrusion form the bed liner
across the front after trimming it to width
between the front corner bracket edges
6.30) Using a jig saw, cut both RH and LH corners
away from the tailgate liner as shown and sand
the edges. Close the tailgate and check
clearance to the foam sealing pad on the
canopy’s rear tub sealing bracket after the
canopy has been fitted.
