Connect the Transfer Chair to Lifting Arm
This is an option when using the transfer
chassis with the transfer chair (5 steps)
1 Set the Malibu/Sovereign bathtub in its lowest position by
pushing Lower Malibu/Sovereign bathtub on the control
panel.
2 Push the Lift out button on the hand control to have the
lifting arm positioned outside the Malibu/Sovereign bathtub
Place the transfer chair to the attachment of the lifting arm
and hook up the transfer chair. See Fig. 1
Raise the lifting arm by pushing the Lift in button on the
hand control, so that the transfer chair is secured on the
lifting arm and the transfer chassis is clear of the floor.

5 Pull out the spring loaded catch to release the transfer
chassis from the transfer chair and at the same time slide
out the transfer chassis sideways from the chair. See Fig. 3
and 4

WARNING
To avoid the patient from falling out of the device,
make sure that all catches are in a locked position,
safety belt is on and the armrests down.

WARNING
To avoid entrapment, make sure to keep the patients
hair, arms and feet close to the body and use
designated grab supports during any movement.
