Disconnect the Transfer Chair from Lifting Arm
This is an option when using the transfer
chassis with the transfer chair (11 steps)
1Set the Malibu/Sovereign bathtub in its lowest position
by pushing Lower bathtub button on the control panel.
2 Push the Lift out button on the hand control to have the
lifting arm position the transfer chair outside the Malibu/
Sovereign bathtub. See Fig. 1
3 Lower the chair but leave enough space underneath for the
transfer chassis to be lifted up and to be able to slide it
under the chair.
4 Make sure the castor brakes on transfer chassis are
unlocked.
5 Lift the transfer chassis up and slide it into the two rails
located underneath the chair. See Fig. 2
6 Make sure the spring loaded catch in the back of the chair
clicks into place. Listen for the click sound when inserting
the transfer chassis. See Fig. 3
