If your Arjohuntleigh Lifting Systems lift isn't raising or descending, check the following: 1. Ensure the battery is fully connected in its compartment. 2. Verify the hand control connection plug is properly connected to the socket. 3. Confirm the battery is charged. 4. Ensure the emergency stop button is inactivated by turning the red knob clockwise. If these steps don't resolve the issue, use the emergency lowering feature (pull the purple ring up) to lower the resident. Once lowered, remove the resident from the lift and contact qualified personnel.
