The table below gives the recommended values of the controller parameters, which
are programmed on delivery. These should only be changed by skilled users, and the
controller manual supplied with the equipment should be consulted.

When using larger capacity holding tubes than those supplied as standard, it may be
necessary to adjust the Pb1, rSEt and rAtE values to compensate for heat loss. For
example, using a 45 second holding tube at 20 litres per hour throughput, these values
will be:-

rAtE 0.30
The auto tune facility of the temperature controller can be used to optimise these
values for other holding tubes. Refer to the temperature controller instruction manual.
