6. First Cleaning
• Proceed with a first cleaning using neutral products, dry with a soft cloth, do
not use abrasive substances or metal sponges,
• DO NOT use alcohol to clean parts in plexi-glass.
7. Installation and Environmental Conditions
For installation, follow the instructions below:
• Do not position the case:
• In places containing explosive gaseous substances;
• In the open air and, therefore, exposed to atmospheric agents;
• near sources of heat (direct sunlight, heating appliances,
incandescent lights etc.);
• Near air current (near doors, windows, air-conditioning systems etc.)
which exceed the speed of 0.2 m/sec.
• Remove any wooden supports on the base used for transportation.
• It is critical to position the case horizontally. Use a level (Ref. 1) to make sure
of its positioning.
• If the case is moved, repeat the level check.
• Before connecting the case to the electric supply, make sure that all the data
on the nameplate corresponds to the characteristics of the electrical system to
which it will be connected.
• In order for the case to operate correctly, the ambient store temperature and
the relative humidity levels must not exceed 75 deg. F and 55% RH as set
forth by industry standards.
NOTE: All these operations must be carried out by specialized licensed
personnel.
Condensation Prevention
To prevent condensation on the end panels or backs of cases, a minimum of 3.0
inches between walls or other cases is required for airflow.
Operational Issues
Failure to maintain maximum design conditions may result in operational issues such as:
•increased BTUH load, high product temperature, coil icing, product frosting, and
external condensation.
Failure to properly install electrical wiring and control wiring as per wiring diagram(s),
defrost settings, and temperature set-points may result in operational issues such as:
• increased BTUH load, high product temperature, coil icing, product frosting, and
external condensation.
